Are you an experienced Automotive Project Engineer seeking a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are now working with a leading automotive manufacturer as they look to expand their Accessories Development Engineering team.
Main Purpose of Project Engineer

Development of Genuine Accessories across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Trim, and Electrical. Flexibility across these areas is desired.

Confirm fitment and application of accessories with vehicles.

Ensure development meets technical, cost, and timing targets.

Support accessories adoption for Special Versions (SV) vehicles.

Assist with market and quality inquiries where applicable.
Responsibilities Project Engineer

Lead the development of vehicle accessories to ensure compatibility and compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve development milestones.

Conduct fitment validation and feasibility studies for new accessories.

Maintain communication with suppliers and stakeholders to meet project targets.

Provide technical support for accessories-related market concerns and quality issues.
Experience / Knowledge for the Project Engineer

Bachelor’s Honours degree in Engineering.
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier roles.

Proficiency in CAD software (preferably NX).
-
Strong communication skills with a clear and conscious approach.
-
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
